Built for real planning work

  • Prioritize count frequency by annual usage value
  • Segment purchasing attention across a catalog
  • Create a review list for stocking-policy differences

Assumptions

  • Annual consumption value equals annual demand multiplied by unit cost.
  • Rows are ranked descending by that value and categorized by cumulative value share.
  • The row that crosses a threshold is assigned to the class containing its cumulative share.

Frequently asked questions

Does the CSV leave my device?

No. Parsing, analysis, preview, and export happen in this browser tab.

What thresholds are common?

80% for A and 95% cumulative for B are common starting points, not universal rules.

Are zero-value items allowed?

Yes. They sort last and normally fall into C; verify whether they represent valid no-cost or inactive records.
