MODEL BASIS

Assumptions

  • Location components are separated by hyphens, spaces, dots, slashes, or underscores.
  • Each component is compared naturally, so A-2 sorts before A-10.
  • Snake mode reverses bay order on every second numeric aisle.

What location formats work?

Common segmented codes such as A-01-02-03, A01-02, or 01/04/02 work best.

Does it change line contents?

No. It adds a sequence and reorders complete rows; the source file remains untouched.

What is snake mode?

It reverses bay order on alternating numeric aisles as a simple serpentine heuristic. Verify it matches your travel rules.
